New partnership with the Cinnamon Network to put local mission on the map
Across the UK, so many of you are leading incredible mission projects in your local communities covered in prayer. Our new partnership with Hope for Every Home and the Cinnamon Network puts these on the map.
Hope’s vision is for everyone, everywhere to know Jesus and to act as a catalyst for this in supporting churches and individuals to share Jesus through words and actions. Working with Hope for Every Home, one of the tools for this has been the OIKOS App that allows people to mark the streets that have been prayed for across the UK.
In this pilot project, we’ve teamed up with the Cinnamon Project’s Cinnamon Connect portal which offers resources and training for local churches around social action, bringing the portal and OIKOS together so that churches can access a range of tools, training and resources to serve their communities in practical ways while mapping where prayer and mission have taken place helping to plan for future activity.
To launch, we’re starting with a focus on prayer. We know that prayer is important, but how can we be more active and expectant with our prayers, especially around mission? To help launch the collaboration, we’re hosting a supporting webinar Prayer in Action that will equip you and your church to pray and listen in your local community in a lasting and effective way. It will also demonstrate how the OIKOS prayer app and the Cinnamon Connect web portal collaboration can help facilitate this. We’re excited about how this collaboration can support you with resources to learn about, record and celebrate the power of localised prayer.
Join the movement to cover the UK in prayer street by street.
