Rachel Jordan-Wolf
Hello! I’m Rachel, and it’s a real privilege to lead the amazing Hope Together team. They are brilliant, dedicated, able and creative. You can meet them here:
As for myself, I’ve been passionate about introducing others to Jesus since I was small and I still think choosing to follow Jesus is the most important thing that anyone can do.
Some highlights of what I’ve done prior to Hope include being part of a YWAM team in the red light district of Amsterdam and gaining a PhD from King’s College London. I’m still fired up by evangelism and excited by good research.
I currently live in East London with my husband Darren where we’re part of a church plant that he leads. We are passionate about church family and community and share our home with four great people from our church.
I love a coffee out, dark chocolate and visiting markets for a good browse.
I’d like to introduce you to the rest of the team:
Sammy Jordan
Hi, I'm Sammy! It’s great being part of the Hope Team. I lead the Hope for Every Home branch of HOPE’s work. This is about being good news where we live; on our streets, with neighbours and in our communities - think street-level evangelism.
I live with my husband Shaun and my son in Eastleigh. We are part of a church plant on a new housing estate where we live, love and serve our community. To unwind I love gardening, walking with friends and chatting with a neighbour over a cuppa.
Roy Crowne
Hi, I'm Roy. I started Hope some time ago and am now Hope Together’s president.
I’m passionate about even more people knowing Jesus across the world and so I’m taking all we’ve learnt and spreading Hope Together out globally. I do this alongside leading Revelation Trust, where we mentor and coach gospel entrepreneurs.
I live in Rugby with my wife Flo and we've been part of the same local church for many years. They are keen supporters of Hope Together. I love football, playing with my grandchildren and starting new projects.
Alex Richards
Hey, Y'all! I am Alex. I work as the Operations Manager for Hope. I love getting to be a part of all the different projects produced by the team. I believe that there are very few things that can't be fixed with a good colour-coordinated spreadsheet and a cupcake!
I am passionate about people knowing that God's love covers each and every person, and advocating for spaces where everyone feels welcomed, included and safe. In my spare time, I love to get creative. Most days are spent painting, doing DIY projects, and experimenting with unique new hobbies.
Anna Martin
Hey, I'm Anna! I am the Executive Assistant for Hope for Every Home, which means I get to have fun working with Sammy!
I am passionate about living in ways which share & declare God’s love on the estate where I live in Coventry with my husband, Jonathan. I also work part-time for my local church as the Children's Discipleship Enabler and run my own business ‘Martin Creations’, providing bespoke resources, training and mentoring for Christian Kids Ministry. When I'm not working, I love cycling, eating ice cream, being arty, drumming, and supporting Watford FC!
Paul Sawrey
Hi, I’m Paul Sawrey and have joined the Hope team as the HEH Scotland Project Lead. I’m an ordained Pioneer minister. I live in Scotland with my wife, Katy, who’s an artist, and our four children.
I am passionate about partnership and networking. During ordination, we helped plant a Church (KXC) in London King’s Cross, before a couple of years in ministry in New Zealand. Since returning to the UK in 2018, we have been ministering in Edinburgh and are currently helping to plant another church called Take Hold Church.
Through the work at Hope Together, I am excited to encourage and support other churches to prayerfully and lovingly communicate the love of Jesus to every street, home and heart in Scotland.
Our Board
Hello! We’re the board of Hope Together. We’re passionate about everyone, everywhere knowing Jesus, and believe that Hope Together is a key part of seeing that happen in the UK and beyond.
We give our time to Hope Together to make sure that the charity runs well and meets its core objectives.
