It’s October!

I’m just getting my head around the change in weather! Yet I’ve been reliably informed that some of you have already started your Christmas shopping! So here at HOPE we’re ready.

Jesus to the Rescue!

Christmas is indeed on the horizon and we are excited to announce that the second in our God’s Big Story series of books, aimed at the under 5’s, is coming soon! Jesus to the Rescue is the Christmas story … with a difference. Using Happyland children’s toys from The Early Learning Centre, it tells the story of how God sent Jesus into the world to rescue it and us. Each book in the God’s Big Story series comes with free downloadable resources via our website so that adults and children can read, watch, play and sing the story together. A Christmas gift for your community

We already told you about our new book God Washes the World and a host of resources for little ones. Now we have a brand new toddler animation and sing-a-long action video that is sure to turn the notch up and engage the young children in your setting! This November, we want to invite you to turn a day of remembering into a season. The last 18 months of the pandemic have been full of losses – schooling, employment, hopes, opportunities, time with family, people. Let’s pause to remember. We’re encouraging you to help people take time to consider how their lives and those around them have been impacted. We are offering free, downloadable and editable resources to help you create opportunities to reflect and remember in both church and community contexts.

The Wellbeing Journey has been translated into Swahili in Tanzania, where it has reached 1.6 million people on Facebook and 730,000 through live TV! Bishop Daudi Nyamita of Hope in Christ Church, Tanzania, shared this encouraging outreach news.
