HOPE Revolution News Sept 2015
………………………………………………………………………………………………
Once again we have entered another term of youth ministry, and no doubt have re-energized and re-focused for another busy season of opportunities. It can seem like an unending treadmill of repeated seasons, and no doubt this September we will have hit the ground running.

As we run and take on new opportunities and fresh challenges we ‘press on towards the goal to win the prize that God has called us heavenwards in Christ’ (Phil 3:14). In our race to win the lives of young people across the country we once again ‘Go’, and reach out to make disciples of young people. As we do this and gear ourselves up once more, we can be comforted by the truth that we do not go alone. Whatever our situations, challenges or disappointments, Jesus’ final words to his disciples stated that ‘I will be with you always, till the very end of age’. As his disciples today, and as those called into the ministry of equipping and empowering young people, we can receive comfort in the knowledge that we do not ‘Go’ in our own strength, but in the Strength of Jesus, who promises to come with us!

May we know His Strength and His power as we embark on yet another exciting and demanding season of missional youth ministry.

‘Go Large’- Mission Academy
HopeMissionAcademycurriculumReigate is among a number of areas looking to do a Mission Academy as they take their Chatterbox large. Matt Harris (Associate Minister) at St Mary’s Reigate is using the ‘Step Out’ Tour as a catalyst to starting the Mission Academy across their region in 2016. ‘For us, the right time to do a Mission Academy is now. We will be working with other local churches  to see the youth of our region unite around the call to be witnesses for Jesus, and we are excited to use the Mission Academy model to do this’ says Matt Harris.

Could you unite youth workers in your area to work together to release young people into a lifestyle of mission?  Could your young people access the 50% funding which is available for all mission ideas created and developed through your Mission Academy?

Check out what other youth leaders have had to say about the Mission Academy below or for more information go to our webpage.

The Youth Evangelism Conference
YEC logoWe are thrilled to be partnering with The Youth Evangelism Conference which will bring together people from all over the country to champion the cause of reaching young people and to inspire practitioners in the field. We are partnering with YFC and Youth Alpha in the delivery of this conference on 27th February 2016 because we dream of seeing a nation of youth workers, not only doing ‘good youth work’, but equipped to spiritually lead young people in such a way that the sharing of faith becomes a natural part of everyday life. This conference will be catalytic in seeing young people supported and released to be creative and effective in evangelism. Take a look at the YEC website for more info... and get yourself booking in now.
