Ann is Director of External Relations at Bible Society and is passionate about equipping and encouraging Christians to live their faith intelligently in the community and the Public Square.

Ann has a background in Education as a teacher and in-service trainer. Ann has been a national trainer and consultant to Local Education Authorities, the DCSF, and independent schools on issues to do with governance and management, including the appointment of senior staff. She has been a governor of several schools, primary, secondary and nursery and has twice been chair of governors. Ann, until recently, was Chair of Governors at an Anglican Independent Boarding School and is on the Governing Body of Bristol Cathedral Choir School (A City Academy).

She was awarded and OBE for Services to Education in 2004 and became an honorary Canon of Bristol Cathedral in 2005. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Gloucestershire in March 2009.
