Who moved the egg?
Theatre performance caused audience to consider the message of Easter.
HOPE in Bedfordshire hosted Who Moved The Egg?, an extravaganza for all the family that entertained and inspired in equal measure.
The Saltmine Theatre Company production, presented in association with HOPE in Bedfordshire, took place on Monday 25th April, 6:00pm at Christ Church, Denmark Street, Bedford. The audience journeyed with others from the town as they travel through from the Last Supper all the way to the Ascension – whilst trying to find an answer to that age old question that still foxes people today – 'who did move the egg?'
It was this show’s third national tour, and it has been successful with all ages. The show is fast-paced, funny and full of audience interaction – whilst leaving plenty of food for thought.
Organisers feel that the production helped the community feel at ease in a church but also provoked some questions about the real meaning of Easter for friends and neighbours.
